OUR PARTNERS
GROWTH THROUGH COLLABORATION

The DoSeum is an iconic, interactive children’s museum in San Antonio, and has partnered with us and Whiteboard Exhibits to host Beautiful Minds: Dyslexia and The Creative Advantage. This exhibit features stories of influential people who struggled with dyslexia, stories of local children who have struggled and received intervention giving them personal success stories, as well as serve as an all-around empowerment experience for dyslexic children.

The goal of our partnership with the Magik Theatre is to produce a play that will raise awareness of effective strategies for identifying dyslexia and teaching struggling readers. As a result of this collaboration, all participants in this project will be equipped to support individuals who struggle to use reading as a communication tool. Children will also know they are not alone.

Cardboard Box Adventures, with inspirational public speaker Don Winn at the helm, has partnered with us with various events and blog posts. In addition to speaking, Don Winn is an author of children’s books as well as a non-fiction book called Raising a Child with Dyslexia.

Whiteboard Exhibits curated Beautiful Minds: Dyslexia and the Creative Advantage. Their mission is to engage, enlighten and inspire cultural communication through specialized traveling exhibits. Beautiful Minds explores the successes of those who think outside the box when faced with the challenges of dyslexia. You will learn about tools and resources for diagnosis as well as pathways to success. A unique portion of the exhibit also reflects each community that it travels to by featuring local students and artists.

Yale has partnered with us to fulfill their mission of illuminating the creative and intellectual strengths of those with dyslexia, to disseminate the latest scientific research and practical resources, and to transform the treatment of all dyslexic children and adults. We are working together in closing the action gap with the narrative of dyslexia.

Parents often have questions about raising their child that has dyslexia. San Antonio Charter Moms partnered with us in getting the word out by commissioning these articles about dyslexia educating parents on what it is like to grow up dyslexic.

Yes! Our Kids Can collaborated with us in the creation of a dyslexia empowerment video that has been added to their curriculum. Featuring dyslexic geniuses such as Steve Jobs, Einstein, and more, the purpose of this campaign is to change the perspective of how our world view of dyslexia and those struggling with dyslexia.

Celebrate Dyslexia and Jewish Family Service are partnering on programs to help students and their families explore the importance of emotional and physical wellness.
