Dyslexia affects 20% of the population. According to Public Education Information Management System Data, Region 20 has only identified 4.55% of the student population. That leaves 95,583 of children in the San Antonio area unidentified, faced with a long and difficult future. Through stakeholder training, collaborative community awareness and strength-based programming, Celebrate Dyslexia plans to close this gap and foster an educational environment for the student with dyslexia to thrive.
